The Tile Project
You may recall we had to replace our hot water heater in Sagle. We took on what we call The Tile Project to enclose the heater. It took months, mainly because it is in Sagle and we are in Rice. Here are some shots of the project. First Lynda and Dancer (Sundance) contemplate the design.
Large tiles rejected and she go with all 'minis'
Lynda was the Tile/Paint/Caulk/Finish Person. I was the Frame/Molding Person.
We wanted to hide the water heater from the 'side view'

Bradbury Beach Revised (V2 R01.01)
You may recall last May We posted some shots of this beach with little or no water (is it then just a desert?). Well, there was water, just WAY low. Here are some shots with water WAY up!
Lynda took Thumper there earlier this week so he could do his obedience homework.
The Bad news is...it is no Santa Monica Beach.
The Good News...it is NO Santa Monica Beach!
The float is FLOATING!
There are White logs floating around the beach area. Keeps the SHARKS out!
The guy cleaning up the area said it gets REAL busy on the weekend. I am guessing he has never been to a California beach!
This is a telephoto shot of the only other occupants. Two Moms and there little ones.
Next shots will be with Melissa frolicking on the beach. Does Melissa frolic?

WWW vs the Mouse (mice)
One would think with a 35 foot trailer and NINE cats, that mice would not be a problem! Alas, they are and the battle lines have been drawn!
Current score is Mice five (got bait off trap without tripping it), Wrigleys one (pictures follow). With one walk (one mouse got out the front door before we could get it). Two errors charged to Wrigleys (trap snapped and caught human fingers instead of mouse).
This shot called "Lost by a Nose"
On the right, Emi (our diabetic cat) remembers the days when she was young, nimble and could catch these critters.
