All I did was tell my little sister that she was very weird and getting weirder. Not my fault! I told our parents to leave her in Texas with our little beagle, but no! We had to bring her back to California (after a brief stay in Utah), with us.

Actually, your Grandmother TOLD us she had found a home (farm) for our dog to out the remainder of his life. And we BELIEVED it! We found out years later he was 'put down'. She always felt that leaving a pet to a stranger was a risky thing (for the pet) and he could not go with us.
