I'm 17 again
Really just testing my movie-making software (newly installed), so posting this short clip of my 17th birthday party. There's me, Norman's girlfriend Jackie, Mom (with our pup GI-Joe -- so named as Norman was about to enter the Army), Cousin Frankie (with his arm around Kenny's girlfriend Millie Mastellos), and Frankie's girlfriend Patty Claussenius (we called her 'The Claw'). Kenny must be taking the movie.

Uncle Frank definitely seems to be flirting with Uncle Kenny's girlfriend!
I've heard of Jackie, how funny to see her. As I recall the story, she wrote him a Dear John letter while he was in Germany, which led him (apparently) to agree to go on the blind double date where he met my mother.

Don't know about the story about your Dad, I was probably already overseas myself.
