I was invited to write for this blog about teenagers - like I know anything about teenagers! But it just occurred to me that you guys might enjoy the resulting essays:

Note my mother has already complained about the last one - apparently it was Bill Haley not Elvis.
Edit: I should say that Connor and I agreed to use his middle name so that if his friends google him they don't end up landing on that site!

Great articles! You are really gifted. I’m proud!
BTW, Bill Haley (and the Comet – groups had such great names during that era) was probably five to ten years before Elvis and G.I. Blues (both a song and a movie). Tell your Mom not to complain. She became a couple years younger in your piece.

To be honest, I put in a "placeholder" name when I was writing the first draft, with a plan to look up top hits and revise accordingly. Then I forgot all about it!
I definitely should get credit for shaving years off ;)
